Headed by Celebrity Stylist and Trends Forecaster, Shaye Strager, this unique agency has celebrity, fashion and jewelry clients seeking publicity and promotions in the media. What separates Studio PR from other agencies is experience, work ethic and personality of its team members. By making work fun, this group of powerhouse executives has established strong relationships with the press and industry VIPS for more than 10 years in the business.
Fashion Stylist and Trends Forecaster, Shaye Strager styles musicians, celebrities, and fashion designer runway shows with the latest trends in fashion and accessories.
Working behind the scenes during New York’s Fashion week for the past 8 years taught Strager the ability to dress, accessorize and style models in record time. Over the past few years, she has worked closely with top fashion designers on red carpet outfits for award shows and movie premiers. In the beginning, Strager was called on to find the perfect accessories to complete the “look” for celebrities and socialites alike. Now, she helps stars of today with their head to toe ensembles, creating their on-stage and red carpet looks. Strager’s strength in styling comes from her relationships with fashion, jewelry and accessories designers and her understanding of the goals of the client.
Strager keeps her client’s style on target with their brand image and marketing pitches. To her, styling is about being true to the artist while being revolutionary and on-trend with the purpose at hand. Her most recent styling clients have been in the music arena, The Three Graces and up-and-coming singer Lauren Zettler.
A well-regarded stylist, Strager has assisted in pulled together the final looks for Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Pauletta (Denzel) Washington, Helen Hunt, Ashley Judd, Halle Berry, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and many other top stars for the red carpet. She recently styled her 14th season of shows at the New York Fashion Week. Over the years she has styled jewelry and accessories for Carmen Marc Valvo, Tracy Reese, Kevan Hall and Rock & Republic Jeans.
In addition to styling, Strager is CBS Channel 2’s Trend Tracker in New York City, appearing every month showcasing the latest fashion trends on the 5 p.m. show and on CBS Saturday Morning. She has worked with other fashion and entertainment specialty shows as well, such as The View, Entertainment Tonight, EXTRA, E! TV and Fox News Channel forecasting fashion trends.
Strager has been styling fashions and accessories since 1998. Shaye started her career in television at Channel 10 News in Roanoke, VA.
Having joined Studio PR in 2008, Mark Davidovich is our resident Account Executive with no limits. Spearheading accounts including Passman Galleries, Caswell-Massey and Tournaire, Mark’s outgoing personality and sharp-as-a-tack, penchant for promotion has made him a favorite amongst editors and clients alike. His on-trend instincts for both jewelry and fashion have enabled him to work meticulously with Shaye, producing and styling fashion shows each season during Fashion Week. He especially loves working with lovely and talented Ms. Marcia Gay on the celebrity styling side of the business. Mark has also planned and executed several events throughout his tenure including The Late Night Lounge, a 4-night themed party at the Wynn Hotel during the annual Couture show in Las Vegas.
Some of his biggest career highlights to date include: Passman’s bangles on Whitney Houston (Cover of Ebony, October 2009) as her new album launched; styling Naeem Khan’s Fall 2009 show with Mary Alice Stephenson using Sevan Bicakci’s one-of-a-kind carved creations; and coordinating CBS segments for Channel 2 News. He is slowly turning into a Trend Tracker himself (he hopes).
Upon landing at Studio PR, Mark brought over 5 years of experience in the fashion, art and beauty industries, including public relations, marketing and retail operations. Highlights include the Fall 2007 campaign for designer Dori Csengeri and the Il-Makiage exhibition at The Makeup Show, New York in 2006. He has so worked with leading brands such as Estee Lauder, MAC Cosmetics and Aveda, in addition to internationally renowned painter, Daniel Bottero, and numerous fashion and jewelry designers.
Mark loves the cohesive and “all hands on deck” mantra at Studio PR. He also prides himself on being an avid enforcer of low cut shirts and stilettos in the office at all times. Interns, take note.
After completing two internships with Studio PR, Cara has finally made it on to our payroll as PR Coordinator. She is responsible for managing all jewelry loans, tracking client placements, organizing press mailings, and much, much more. Born, raised, and still living on the eastern end of Long Island, her commute is long …but well worth it! She recently graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Mass Communications from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. She is very excited to be starting her career in the world of jewelry and fashion.
